Secondhand Santa
One of our fabulous Lil folk told us about the battered violin Santa brought her now adult daughter. It’s still one of “those” gifts, the ones that go down in family folklore, because of the letter that came with the violin. Santa wrote to her daughter, apologising for the elves who’d been a bit vigorous in “testing” the violin for her. The elves had loved the violin, but they now wanted for her to love it too. We couldn’t not share that!!
